Hello

I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine and have some exciting plans for the long weekend coming. Here's my latest polymer clay news
  • I will be exhibiting my latest polymer clay jewellery and creations at the Easton Arts Trail on  Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July in Easton Community Centre on Kilburn Street. Do come say 'Hello' if you are in the area. I hope to have an expanded range of gifts available as well as exciting new jewellery!
  • I also have some jewellery for sale in the adorable gift shop Tenderfoot, 100 Wick Road, Brislington. If you haven't been you should go check it out, it is chock full of wonderful handmade gifts, made locally in Bristol.
  • Below are the latest workshop dates. Please email me to book a place, they are on a first come first served basis. If the dates/times aren't suitable for you please get in touch, I can bear that in mind when planning the next round of workshops. If there's something that you would like to learn that's not covered please let me know too. I can also arrange private workshops to your specification for a group of 4- 6 people.
Workshops Dates May/June 2011

June/July Offer - Book 2 places on a  workshop (e.g.you and a friend), or book 2 workshops and get a £5 discount!

All these workshops take place in a small group in a comfortable home environment in Fishponds. All  materials, use of tools, refreshments and workshop handouts are included.

An introduction to polymer clay.
You will learn how to work with polymer clay including mixing your own custom colours and to make some simple canes. You will be shown how to use your canes to decorate items such as beads and pendants including the cabochon form and some great tricks with scrap clay.
Cost £50 per person, ideal for complete beginners.

Wednesday 11th July 10am-3.30pm


Cute Creatures
I will show you how to make a tortoise, cat and owl.They can be little ornaments or we can turn them into beads/charms.  There will be some of my flower canes available for you to decorate your creatures, feel free to bring your own if you have any.
Cost £20 per person, suitable for all.
Monday 16th July  8pm - 10.00 pm

Complex Flower Canes
Taking canes to the next level. Suitable for those who have some experience of polymer clay and made simple canes previously.We will start by making Skinner blends and then using them to make beautiful detailed flower canes. Cost £30 per person
Wednesday 18th July - 10am - 1 pm

The next prize draw for a pair of my handmade polymer clay earrings will be 10th September, everyone who is on my mailing list at the time will be entered - good luck! I will email you around then to let you know my autumn/winter dates for sales and workshops and to let you know who won!
