I've recently acquired some new polymer clay books and am looking forward to trying out some new things. I haven't read any of them properly yet but I have had a quick look through and am very excited! Here's the new ones.
I already have several books my favourites being
and there are loads more I want to read! Let me know what your favourites are.
I don't own too many polymer clay books but accumulated a few as a b-day present and Christmas gift from my dear hubby this past year. I happen to have five of the 7 you show and love them all. The bead book by Carol Blackburn is probably my favorite, then the Donna Kato ones next.
The Carol Blackburn book is endlessly inspiring - the Donnna Kato ones too are incredibly technically helpful. I love the work in one with the blue flower on the cover. I love Grant Diffendaffer's book too, as a jumping off point - not actually to make beads like his, but to stimulate new ways of working with polymer. Have yet to work through Colour Inspirations...
I don't buy many but for me the best ones are the ones I can allways find something each time I go and look for inspiration. So my fav is the bead book, then color inspirations ( I am allways discovering something with this book) Kato both not as much as I thought. The others to look at not to own.
My name is Cara Jane Hayman and I live in Bristol UK
My first polymer clay work, at age 7, was a tea set for my dolls. I have enjoyed it as a hobby since then but over the last few years it has grown from a hobby to a real passion! I have been lucky enough to attend creative workshops with many of the world’s finest polymer clay artists including Donna Kato, Christine Dumont and Carol Blackburn which has fuelled my passion even further.
I am having a great time exploring many of the endless possibilities polymer clay offers. You can follow me on my journey and find my tips, tutorials and polymer clay creations at www.carajane.co.uk

Ooh - Santa was good to you! I agree with 2GC and Claire - the Blackburn is a fantastic jumping-off point. Looks like a busy 2011!
