Hearts

Here's some images of some custom hearts I made before Christmas. They are hand size, so you can hold them in your hand. I made them from hearts shaped out of scrap clay, covered with cane slices.

and a couple of close ups of what I think are my favourites, although that changes every time I looked at them.

Crochet hooks

Happy birthday mum!

She has already opened these so I can now show you what I have been busy doing. I didn't give her all these, mum got the four on the right, the larger sizes as I knew she already had many of the smaller ones. I am using the blue one in the middle and it is lovely to work with. So much nicer to hold than the plain aluminium handle.

I've been busy but look forward to having a bit more time to blog again soon.

Latest flower canes

Just a quick one to show you some of my latest canes. I am pretty pleased with how they worked out. This is the first time I have tried a rose cane or the reversed skinner blend one. The one on the far right with the green is from the Ayelet Beads tutorial I bought a while back.

If I was making the rose one again I would have less white in my skinner blend cane centre.
